Airlie Chefs to Throw Down at Maryland Seafood Festival

Check out the 47th Maryland Seafood Festival from 1-2 p.m. Sunday, September 7at Sandy Point State Park to see Airlie’s own Culinary Director Jeff Witte and Executive Chef Jeremy Anderson put on a show as they present three fun ways to cook Rockfish.


The festival’s Chef Demo is a way to educate the public on sustainable fishing in the Chesapeake Bay and unique ways to turn today’s catch into tomorrow’s dish. Our chefs will put together three different dishes: Smoked rockfish mousse, rustic rockfish bruschetta ceviche, and rockfish gravlax for all in attendance to sample.

This will be our third year attending.

Other chefs from the Maryland, Virgina and DC area will be in attendance as well.
