Airlie announces Signature Dinner Series events of 2015

Happy New Year everyone! We hope your holiday season was happy and healthy! 

In keeping with our mission to support local food sources, we are happy to announce the first two Signature Dinner Series events of 2015. 

Saturday, January 17 - Catoctin Creek Distillery 

On Saturday, January 17, beginning at 5:30 pm, Airlie is hosting a Spirits Dinner with Scott Harris, owner of Catoctin Creek. The evening will feature Catoctin Creek Distillery and their award-winning handcrafted spirits paired with a beautiful four-course menu showcasing Virginia-based ingredients by Airlie Culinary Director Jeff Witte and Executive Chef Jeremy Anderson.

The evening will begin with a reception featuring two handcrafted cocktails using their Watershed Gin and Roundstone Rye. The evening will include a Meet and Greet with Catoctin Creek Distillery owner Scott Harris, an assortment of hors d’oeuvres, followed by a seated dinner at 6pm.  The menu is crafted from local chicken, pork, and locally sourced cheese and organic vegetables.

The dinner is $89 per person excluding tax, and guests are encouraged to extend their experience with overnight accommodations at $130 per couple which includes breakfast the next morning.  

Saturday, February 14 - Fabbioli Cellars 

February 14th falls on a Saturday this year, so why not celebrate all weekend with fine wines, exquisite food and a romance? Airlie Culinary Director Jeff Witte and Executive Chef Jeremy Anderson have paired their culinary masterpieces with the delicious wines of master winemaker Doug Fabbioli which will start with a reception at 6 pm and 5-course dinner at 7 pm.

Airlie offers an array of private, beautifully decorated guest rooms which guests can enjoy during this long weekend. Enjoy a stroll through the English garden, walk along scenic paths, enjoy a bike ride around the property or just rest and reconnect at your leisure.  

The dinner is $125 per person excluding tax, and guests are encouraged to extend their experience with overnight accommodations at $119 per couple which includes breakfast the next morning.The dinner package is $369 per couple and includes dinner and gratuity, guest room accommodations and breakfast the next morning.
